Attorneys & Staff

The team of Trest & Twigg consists of two attorneys and three support staff members.

Attorney Roy D. Trest has been practicing law since 1977.  He also served as a District Court Judge and is a certified Mediator in North Carolina.  His practice focuses mainly on Automobile Accidents and Injuries; Criminal Law; Civil Litigation; Driving While Impaired (DWI/DUI); Personal Injury; Traffic Violations; and Wrongful Death.

Attorney Tonia Trest Twigg was previously employed as a legal assistant and paralegal before her career change in 2002.  She has a varied general practice which includes the areas of Criminal Law; Civil Litigation; Expungements; License Restoration hearings; Homeowners Associations; Personal Injury; Probate;  Traffic Violations; and Wills and Estates.

Office Manager Donna Trest assists in the daily operation of the business, and can be contacted directly regarding any payment questions.

Legal Assistant Jeanette Haigler is a former Certified Nursing Assistant and real estate agent.  Her medical background is invaluable in the compilation of medical records involved in our Personal Injury cases.

Legal Assistant Lilly has a vast experience of Criminal Law and Traffic Offenses, and serves as our firm’s receptionist.
